Pukatea is a unique native New Zealand tree which produces an alkaloid "pukateine" - a natural analgesic. Pukatea balm works very quickly,  but it also may need one or two applications to reduce strong pain. We have combined the fast acting Pukatea with the slower acting Tataramoa to produce a balm that gives lasting pain relief.
